We get it—having your picture taken can seem nerve-racking, especially if it’s your first time in a Professional Studio.
But fear not! A trip to Spark Studios will show you just how smooth and relaxed we make it.

Our Photo Shoots include high-end Professional Hair, Make-up and Styling.
Plus, our Professional Photographers, all with a fashion background, will give your images that ultra-chic, sophisticated look.

During your session, our super-friendly creative team will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you end up with stunning Professional images. And most importantly, you’ll have lots of fun—that’s our secret!

So, whether you’re a couple having your first shoot together, a Family celebrating a new arrival, a Seasoned Pro in the entertainment business, or a new Model creating your first Professional Portfolio, we are here to ensure you gain outstanding professional images. THE DAY

1 Reception

You’ll be greeted by one of our friendly team and shown to the waiting area, where you can relax and enjoy some refreshments and nibbles before you begin.

2 Make-Up

You will firstly have a consultation with one of the styling team experts to establish the kind of look you would like to achieve. Once they have a good understanding of your requirements, your Professional Make-up look will begin. Photographic make up is a little heavier than usual to account for the studio lighting – Just be prepared for amazing results!

3 Hair

Please arrive with freshly washed and dry hair, without any styling products. (Arriving with products in your hair can limit what our stylists are able to achieve for you) If you have very curly or Afro hair and are looking for a smoother style, we recommend blow-drying your hair smoother before arriving, and our expert stylists can give you a brilliant style/finish.

4 Photo-shoot

You will then be introduced to your Photographer who will start by having a look at your selected Outfits, which will set the tone for the style of the Shoot. Once you’re happy, they will get to work! The shoots are informal and fun and you will be directed the whole way. And don’t worry, our team are all very friendly and relaxed and accustomed to working with first-timers!

5 Viewing

At the end of your shoot, your images will be downloaded and will be ready to view. One of our viewing consultants will walk you through your images and
any images you select will be provided to you digitally on the same day!

6 Artwork & design

You can take advantage of our unique Artwork & Design service, where you can select your Favourite Image/s form your shoot and have them cut out and imposed on virtually any type of Background you like – The sky is the limit! and makes for a great gift too! Ask your viewing consultant for details.

HOW TO PREPARE

Please arrive approx 15 minutes before your appointment time, as this will give you time to relax and enjoy a beverage before you begin your shoot.

Do plan ahead, checking the roads or public transport for any delays/works etc

Make-Up

We recommend that you arrive without wearing make-up.
This is so that when we cleanse your skin we are starting with a clean base (blank canvas) which allows for a much smoother application. It also can run your day a little longer if there is make up to remove before starting. We totally understand those who arrive with a small amount of make up on, but please do keep it to minimum so that our Professional Make-up artists can achieve optimum results for you.

Hair

Outfits

Please bring at least four contrasting outfits along with you, so that the Photographer can help you choose the best outifts to shoot with (as something you like, may not translate best on camera) Those coming along with a friend, partner or family, we recommend a little co-ordinating with the other person/s. Colour co-ordinating also looks great with families. Bring along shoes and accessories, and not forgetting to spruce up those nails!

FAQ

I've been offered a free Fashion Style PhotoShoot experience - What's the catch?

There isn’t one!
We are confident that you’ll love your images and hope that you will want to purchase a selection of them. We know that you’ll have an amazing time and will be happy to recommend us to your friends and family!

Why do I have to pay a booking deposit?

When you book your session, we in turn book the Professionals for you (Make-up artist, Hair stylist, Photographer, Retoucher) and the Studio timeslot, which prevents anyone else from taking your slot. The deposit can be used towards a purchase of any of the Image Bundles.

How long will the session last?

You should allow approx 3-4 hours for your session

Do I have to buy the photos?

We create beautiful images at very affordable rates and we hope that you do love your images (as the vast majority of our happy clients do) and choose to purchase a selection of them.

How much are the pictures?
What If I can't afford them?

We have packages to suit all budgets and the more Images you choose, the more cost effective the package becomes – We even have an interest free payment plan option available!

How should I prepare? What should I bring?

We recommend arriving with little or no make-up. Freshly washed, product free Hair. Four outfits (we’ll shoot you with the best three) Along with Shoes & Accessories – and don’t forget to spruce up those nails!

Do men come to Spark Studios?

Due to the wide variety of specialist areas covered at Spark Studios, we shoot everything from couples and families, to male models and actors. A large percentage of our clients are men.

What age range do you cater for?

There are no age restrictions at Spark Studios. If you explore our portfolios, you will see every age from new-borns to Grandparents! If you are bringing your children, please do bring a supervising adult with you so you can fully relax during the Shoot
