THE DAY
1 Reception
You’ll be greeted by one of our friendly team and shown to the waiting area, where you can relax and enjoy some refreshments and nibbles before you begin.
2 Make-Up
You will firstly have a consultation with one of the styling team experts to establish the kind of look you would like to achieve. Once they have a good understanding of your requirements, your Professional Make-up look will begin. Photographic make up is a little heavier than usual to account for the studio lighting – Just be prepared for amazing results!
3 Hair
Please arrive with freshly washed and dry hair, without any styling products. (Arriving with products in your hair can limit what our stylists are able to achieve for you) If you have very curly or Afro hair and are looking for a smoother style, we recommend blow-drying your hair smoother before arriving, and our expert stylists can give you a brilliant style/finish.
4 Photo-shoot
You will then be introduced to your Photographer who will start by having a look at your selected Outfits, which will set the tone for the style of the Shoot. Once you’re happy, they will get to work! The shoots are informal and fun and you will be directed the whole way. And don’t worry, our team are all very friendly and relaxed and accustomed to working with first-timers!
5 Viewing
At the end of your shoot, your images will be downloaded and will be ready to view. One of our viewing consultants will walk you through your images and any images you select will be provided to you digitally on the same day!
6 Artwork & design
You can take advantage of our unique Artwork & Design service, where you can select your Favourite Image/s form your shoot and have them cut out and imposed on virtually any type of Background you like – The sky is the limit! and makes for a great gift too! Ask your viewing consultant for details.
HOW TO PREPARE
Make-Up
We recommend that you arrive without wearing make-up.
This is so that when we cleanse your skin we are starting with a clean base (blank canvas) which allows for a much smoother application. It also can run your day a little longer if there is make up to remove before starting. We totally understand those who arrive with a small amount of make up on, but please do keep it to minimum so that our Professional Make-up artists can achieve optimum results for you.
Hair

Outfits
Please bring at least four contrasting outfits along with you, so that the Photographer can help you choose the best outifts to shoot with (as something you like, may not translate best on camera) Those coming along with a friend, partner or family, we recommend a little co-ordinating with the other person/s. Colour co-ordinating also looks great with families. Bring along shoes and accessories, and not forgetting to spruce up those nails!
